Our site, along with the rest of Emuxhaven was down the last two days. It appears that they had some DNS issues over the past few days, but they assure us that these issues have now been overcome.

It's done for now! The patch you have all been waiting for! All menu's are in English and I believe you'll really enjoy the hard work! Sorry, no story mode included yet, but the story mode overlay has been translated! The patch will be distributed via Bittorrent and our IRC channel, so checkout the contact information for IRC info if you need it.

Here are some of the best Bittorrent clients to use if you are not familiar with the software: Offical, Shadow's Experimental (BitTornado), Azureus, and ABC.

If you do not have a rar client, please download WinRAR.

(TheXev personally recommends Azureus, but everyone has preferences).

After demand has calmed down, I'll post the patch on the website. Untill then, please get the patch on Bittorrent and IRC. I'll be seeding the patch on Bittorrent constantly, so there should always be a download. Please seed the patch for as long as you can!

Also, please watch out later on today, as my tracker might be shut down and we might change to MugiMugi's tracker!

Gillian Seed and SamusAran have uploaded the file to their web servers. If you do not have bittorrent, you can get the file from one of their links. Bittorrent has been extremely fast for those few who have downloaded today.

Head over to the Melty Blood section to checkout some new screen shots I posted earlier. Daichi has only the title screen to complete and then we can release the menu patch for Melty Blood. It's been decided we will not include any translated story mode for now. Please post any and all comments on the screen shots in the Melty Blood section of the forums!

Also, there has been a major break through on the "secret project", so we may announce it officially sometime in the next month!

I updated information on Melty Blood page to reflect the contributions of the menu translators, and to reflect our new dialog translator. Dialog translation seems to be in full swing and I have updated status numbers on the scripts translation, 3% now woo hoo. I came up with that number by taking the Japanese script size [532KB, and the current translation size [which is the first 17KB of script] and dividing 17/532.

I am still waiting on Daichi to finish up the photoshopped textures for Melty Blood's menus. He's been pretty busy lately, but I'm confident in his ability to finish the job. If dialog translation continues at this pace, I might toss the prolog into the first patch as a teaser, although I doubt I'll have a font fix in time for that release.

I am wondering why there have been so many viewers on our new forums lately, but a sever lack of posting. Feel free to post anything related to Melty Blood in the MB section, and post any miscellaneous topics in General Chat, because the forum needs to liven up a little. I want to see some PvP replays!

On a side note: Seriously, someone help Soulfang out! I want to see Farland Symphony start moving again so I can play test more stuff for him! It's a fun game!
